We are currently taking reservations for Fall 2009 & have listed our breeding plans under each doe's pedigree along with price. You can also find at the bottom of this page a Kidding Spreadsheet to help guide you. Thank you to everyone who purchased animals from us in the past! The babies are so cute and I hate to sell them. The husband says some have to go. If it was up to me…we would keep them all! If you are looking for a pet, I suggest a Wether. I would rather see them go to a good home than to auction. I work hard every year to find them good homes to avoid sending them to auction. Goats are a herd animal and do better in pairs. Wethers can be trained as pack goats and pull carts just like horses but eat much less, require less space, are easier to take care of, and cost much less than purchasing a horse. They also are easy to take care of and are excellent for clearing brush.
All Wethers are $25. Please read the following before making any reservations.
An animal may be reserved from us by sending a $50 deposit for each animal you wish to purchase, with the remainder of the purchase price due 6 weeks after a kid's birth, or (in the case of an adult doe or buck) within three weeks after the animal has been offered for sale and accepted by the buyer. Checks or money orders should be made out to Bada Bing Farm. Animals should be shipped or picked up by six weeks of age to avoid the boarding fees that we will charged after that time. We love having people come see us to fetch their animal, but are happy to air freight kids to buyers if that is preferred. We award reservations based on the order reservation deposits are received. If a reservation is changed to a different animal, previous reservations for that individual take priority. We accept two doe and two buck reservations per doe. We recommend a first and second choice per deposit, but that is not required. Second choices are superseded by any 1st choice reservations that are made for an animal. We reserve the right to select animals for our herd's needs. Usually we notify buyers when kids are born, but don't release the kid for purchase until we have determined it is of satisfactory quality and health. This will take a week or more. Animals that remain unpaid for after six weeks (unless special arrangements have been agreed to by us) may be resold to another buyer and any monies paid forfeited. Health papers, shipping fees, transport to airports, kennels, and required or requested laboratory test are the responsibility of the buyer. As is any vet care needed for animals not yet picked up or shipped. Buyers may, if a reserved animals is either not born or is retained by us, move their reservation to another animal or have it returned in full. However, no refunds will be given for cancelled reservations. We try to match buyers with an animal they will enjoy for many years. If asked, we will give you any information we can to help you make your selections. Our efforts are more effective if you know what traits you want/need to add to your herd as well as any traits that you need to avoid.
